I got the chance to make Fast Easy Monkey Bread for Oprah. She came to town for a screening of Red Tails. This film is based on True Events that happened during World War II involving the Tuskegee Airmen. I was honored to make homemade Monkey Bread for the cast of the film and all the production people that came in and out of the green room. The monkey Bread is on the table right behind Oprah and the actors. Elijah Kelley was my favorite actor to meet. He brought some of his friends and they were so excited to see their friend on the big screen. Oprah smelled delicous and is taller then I thought she was. The movie comes out January 20th 2012. And the screening was filmed by Oprah’s crew for the new show by Oprah, called Oprah the Next Chapter on OWN. Exciting things are happening with Fast Easy Bread check back in a few days we have a big announcement.

2 Tbsp. Cinnamon
1 cup Brown Sugar
Mix all your dry ingredients. Add the ¼ cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp yeast, 2 tsp liquid soy lecithin, 1 tsp salt to the filling and mix. Add the pumpkin and milk. Then slowly add the water until all the flour is gone and the dough is pulling itself off the bowl.

Take dental floss (or any cutting utensil) and cut pieces to about 1” thick rolls. Unroll each piece and roll both ends into the middle and then pinch the middle to help shape into a heart. Place in greased baking dish, cover and let rise for about 15-20 minutes. Then bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden. Take out let cool for 5 minutes then drizzle with caramel icing, cream cheese icing or both!

I love Monkey Bread and I love pumpkin, put them together and you get Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for November!
The Recipe is Fast Easy Monkey Bread with a few more ingredients.
Make the dough
2.5 cups of Bread flour
1/8 cup Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoons Saf Instant Premium Yeast
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoons Liquid Soy Lecithin
1/2 cup Pumpkin puree
1/2 Cup warm milk
1/2 cup warm water
First mix the dry ingredients together. Flour, yeast, sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and then dimple the dry mix with your teaspoon and fill up the dimple with your liquid soy lecithin to avoid a sticky mess. Then add your pumpkin, milk and water. You want your dough sticky so if you need to add more water 1 tablespoon at a time until all the flour is mixed in and the dough is pulling itself of the bowl.
Roll out your dough and cut into 1 inch pieces. Then mix 1 cup granulated sugar and 2 tablespoon cinnamon and coat each piece and place in a bunt pan. If you like pecans or nuts add them to the bottom of the pan before you add in the sugar/cinnamon pieces of dough. To make the sauce mix together 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar in heat in microwave for 1 minute mix together and heat for another minute, add a tablespoon of milk or cream and mix together until it makes a caramel sauce. Pour the sauce over the dough and let the dough rise for 15 minutes.
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Then flip out on to a large plate or platter and drizzle with cream cheese frosting.

I had the chance today to interview James Farmer III. First of all if you like southern accents he is your guy. Thick as Molasses. But that is coming from a Texas girl who is always asked “Where are you from?” I never say ya’ll I say you guys and its all because I am a product of my mother who is from Wisconsin. James on the other hand is from Georgia, and he most definitely says ya’ll and not you guys!
He not only was fun to talk to but, he loved FAST EASY MONKEY BREAD. I happen to bring some Monkey Bread to share and asked him if he liked pecans. His eyes lite up and he said YES! Needless to say I did the interview while he was eating yummy, gooey monkey bread. He gave me great tips about FAST, EASY and Economical gardening. Instead of wasting water and getting in trouble for watering use ice cubes in your small planter boxes. The plants can’t soak-up all the water when the hose is watering them but as the ice melts it can get the moisture it needs. I am so excited to use this tip on my small but lovely rose bush my hubby gave me. Its in full blown since it is cooling off a bit and we finally got some much needed rain! I also learned how to prune my lovely rose bush from A Time to Plant. Its full of lots of gardening tips and some yummy recipes. Sweet Potato Souffle, coated with yummy Pecans! My mother and mother-in-law will love this book! The pictures are amazing!
You can meet James Farmer the 3rd and buy his book A Time to Plant tonight! Ask him about the Monkey Bread!

I make homemade pizza every week with my Fast Easy Bread Pizza Bundle and I ALWAYS stuff the crust. My children have become so spoiled that if they eat pizza from anywhere else they ask why isn’t the crust stuffed with cheese? They have also been known to say that their mom’s pizza is better then any pizza chain. You have to just love my LOUD girls and their pizza pickyness!
On the movie Despicable Me the trio of orphan girls can only be quieted down when the criminal mastermind finally promises stuffed crust pizza for dinner. If only life were that easy, my 4 girls would be quiet every Friday night! I guess I just need to become a criminal mastermind along with making stuffed crust pizza so all would be quiet in my house.
I can’t teach you how to become a criminal mastermind but I can teach you how to make delicious stuffed crust pizza faster than you can get delivery. First, make Fast Easy Bread basic dough found here and half the dough. Roll out the dough into a circle larger than your pizza stone and place the dough on the stone. I like to use my beautiful homemade black walnut French rolling pin.

Then, Take 5 mozzarella cheese sticks and cut them in half length wise and place them about 1/4 inch from the edge of the stone. Then fold the excess dough over the halved cheese sticks.

For the perfect pizza sauce use one 8 ounce can of tomato sauce and 1 tablespoon of Fast Easy Bread Pizza/Pasta Seasoning.

To avoid a mess just pour the sauce in the center and shake it all around to get it spread out evenly as shown below.

I like to put pepperoni on the sauce and then spread around 2 cups of mozzarella cheese. Then I like to put a few more pepperonis on top for looks.

My final touch is to coat the crust with 1/4 cup olive oil and a tablespoon of the Fast Easy Bread Pizza/Pasta Seasoning. Make a paste and brush it on the edge. You might want to eat the crust first!

Bake for 20 minutes at 425 degrees. Let it cool and then cut and serve to those loud kiddos. I promise a mouth full of this goodness will quiet any crowd temporarily.
Fast Easy Bread Stuffed Crust Pizza is so FAST, EASY and ECONOMICAL that I can make it, bake it, and be eating it before any pizza chain can deliver it! And… I can do all that for a fraction of the cost. So, maybe I am a criminal mastermind after all! I feel I have beaten the system. Join me and make your family oh and ah over Homemade Stuffed Crust Pizza!

I am in Utah on vacation and loving it! I have to say Texas is amazing, I love the people but I couldn’t take the heat so I got out of that kitchen.
While on vacation I have been baking some Fast Easy Bread and enjoying the new recipe for the S’more braid! Thanks Jen Cusano. The S’more braid is for everyone who said, “I love chocolate and bread. Can you mix them together?” YES, YES you can thanks to Jen my Texas friend, who is feeling like she is roasting in the Texas heat! Sorry… but come November you will be eating yummy soup in a Bread Bowl and eating my other favorite braid, The Caramel Apple Braid!
I was featured on my dear friends blog making yummy Fast Easy Bread treats including the S’more braid. Check it out http://www.vonnierombom.blogspot.com/
Here is the recipe for the S’more Braid below.
As usual start out with the Basic Dough recipe.
Roll out 1/2 the dough with your your trusty French Rolling Pin into a rectangle about the size of a cookie sheet in order to make a Braid.

Then for the bottom layer, mix a sleeve of crushed Graham Crackers and 1/4 cup of melted butter together and spread it down the middle third of the dough as shown.

Spread out about a 1/2 cup of chocolate chips on top of the crumbs and drizzle 1/4 of a can of sweetened condensed milk over the top of it (I love this stuff, its a dessert all by itself).
Next add 3 scoops of marshmallow fluff and spread it out as best you can.

Cut the sides of the dough into strips and braid the dough.

Finally, drizzle 1/4 more of the can of sweetened condensed milk on top and sprinkle with chocolate chips for fun! No need to let it rise so bake for 20 min at 350 degrees and enjoy.

All pictures were taken by www.auburnsoulphotography.com. and are posted on our Fast Easy Bread Flickr account.

My sweet daughters got the chance to meet Selena Gomez! She was really nice and gave them her undivided attention. We got to see her new movie Monte Carlo and then meet her at the Four Seasons to ask her fun questions.
My 5 year Taylor asked her what her favorite pizza was and Selena surprised us with
Jalapenos and Mushrooms!
Selena also told us that while filming the movie she loved to eat bread and Nutella. The movie starts out in Texas and then you get to see Paris, then Monte Carlo and a little bit of Romania or so we thought.
Katelynn my 9 year old asked if she really got to go to all these places and thats when we learned Texas and Romania were actually filmed in Budapest!
Ashley my 7 year old asked her when her birthday! Its July 22 and she will be 19. My girls just loved the chance to meet her and they really got the Royal Treatment.
Take your daughters to see Monte Carlo, the movie is cute and they places are beautiful. Its was really clean and Selena did a great job playing so many characters!
